Hello there,

I have an Active Directory question. I need to identify multiple servers in our system and group them all under one Forest. Would that be possible? What would I need to do to make this happen?

I am eagerly waiting for your answers. Thanks in advance!

Yes, it is possible that you can run all the servers under 1 forest. But there are certain things that you have to take care of while performing this thing.

  1. You must use two different DHCP servers. Usually it is referred to as directing a client computer directly to a NBP.
  2. You can either update the IP tables so that the client can connect to the server directly for any kind of exchange of info in between them.
  3. You can also try using the options in DHCP like 60 66 67 etc.
  4.  If you want further information, go and have a look at the following program
  5. You can also look for an official guide from Microsoft in this link
