I want to set-up an Internet Shop with 10 computers to be networked. Do I need to have allot private address space for all of these computers or the router itself can do the work for these computers to be Internet-ready? How does private address space really work?

All that you have to do is to buy a Public IP from some ISP and to manage IP on computers in your shop you can use one of the following techniques:

1. You can configure DHCP services in your router and define a range of IPs there.

2. You can use sub netting to divide your network (Single IP) into further small subnets.

DHCP is the best option out of two.
