Hellow,

I need some help on my excel spread sheet. I have 10 columns. I have to transfer these as 10 rows.

Is there any way to do this?

Hi,

Yes, it is possible.

At first, you have to copy the columns.

Then, go to another excel sheet, select a cell, click the right button and select the “paste special” option.

Now, give tick marks on the ‘Skip blanks’ and ‘Transpose’ options. Click Ok.

By doing this process you can transfer all columns in rows at a time.

Hi,

To convert a file from column to row. Please follow these steps.

First, copy all the information that you want to convert.

Second, go to any available column, just right click and select "paste special".

         Third, check "Transpose" then "OK".

Last, highlight again the files you copied earlier. Instead of copying it again, right click then select "Delete".

          Just delete the entire column.

Hello Brayen,

To transfer the data between columns and rows, you will need to follow the procedure that follows:

  • First of all, you will need to copy the data in one or more columns.
  • Before you proceed to paste the copied data, you will need to right-click your first destination cell which is the first cell of the row into which you want to paste your data, and then after that you will click Paste Special.
  • In the Paste Special dialog box,  you will need to choose  Transpose, and then click OK.
  • The Transpose check box is in the lower-right corner of the dialog box.
  • From your first cell, Excel will paste the data into a row or column.

Regards,

Carl
