  1. Connect the Ethernet cable to your modem.
  2. Connect the end of Ethernet cable to the modem and the other end to the router’s LAN port.
  3. Collect your Internet service Provider Information (ISP) by navigating my computers then click “network connections”.
  4. Click “Local Area Connection then right click and select “properties”. There you can see the Internet Protocol / IP. Copy it.
  5. Open any internet browser it can be Firefox or Google chrome. In the URL bar that can be found at the top of the page type “192.168.2.1”, the default IP address for Belkin.
  6. Log in to the set up page and select submit.
  7. Click “Initial setup” and click on the “Static IP Address”.
  8. In the next page, type in your IP address, then type your DNS addresses (enter both the DNSS numbers). Then, click “enter”. The internet column to the right of the screen should say connected.
  9. Configure wireless connectivity by clicking the wireless tab in the main setup page
  10. Type in the SSID (name of your wireless connector). You can also enable the security features of you router by clicking “security”. You may choose WEP or WPA.
