I need feedback in Win dvd winrar

Hi.  I'm trying to compress Windows media files using winrar so it could fit on a 4488MB DVD-R.  Would the quality of the video still be the same when I decompress it?  I need feedback in Win DVD Winrar.  Thanks in advance.

Hello there Payel,

Winrar is only used for compressing files which means it treated the same bits into one and as to answer your question the answer is it depends. If you would not play the file from DVD then some problems may occur especially DVD-R is a DVD that can only write, therefore you cannot do anything in this type of DVD. If you would not play it in DVD and decompress it in your PC then the video that you have compressed would be the same.
