I just installed outlook a few days back, I have to back up some files, how to backup pst files in outlook 2010. Any help will be appreciated.

It is easy to backup files, just follow the steps given below and you will learn it easily.

  1. Open outlook 2010 and then click on the file tab and select open option.
  2. From the side, click on import.
  3. A wizard window will open, select export to a file option and then click on next.
  4. A new window will open, select the option with .pst extension(Outlook data file).
  5. Select the files accordingly and check the include subfolders option if you want to export an entire folder.
  6. Click on browse and select the location.
  7. Then you will be able to find your files.
  8. In case, a password box appears leave it blank.
