Hello Brainy,

Experts I need your help to restore my system to default settings. When I try to restore the Windows 7 in the computer in the middle of the process I encountered an error message. This error message stopped my repair attempt to restore the windows. Every application in the system is the licensed one from the authorized website. Please help me to restore it. Thanks.

 

Microsoft Office can’t find your license for this application. A repair attempt was unsuccessful or was cancelled. Microsoft Office will now exit.

How I will restor system to default settings

Hello,

Visio is an Office suite that works with various components installed on a PC. This error will generate if your PC is not providing a service accessible. The service name is “SOFTWARE PROTECTION”. In order to fix this issue, you have to start the service.

1. Start Command Prompt with administrator privilege.
2. Run the following command:
   net start <service_name>

In the <service_name> field, type the service name and hit Enter. The service will start automatically.

If the problem persists and continues to appear, do the following:

1. Start Command Prompt like before.
2. Run the command:
   sc config <service_name> start=auto
   net start <service_name>

Here, the new command will set the service startup type to “Automatic” that will load the service whenever you boot your PC. This is recommended to all services.
