We all know to transfer file from one computer to other through USB flash drive. But rarely people know that we can connect two PC’s directly using remote desktop connection. How to gain access to another computer to transfer files directly?

To connect to a PC turn it on, enable remote desktop and you must have the permission to connect.
Note down the name of the PC you want to connect.
TO ENABLE REMOTE CONNECTIONS
1)Â Â Â Â Â Open start menu.
2)Â Â Â Â Â Right-click on my computer and select properties.
3)Â Â Â Â Â Go to system.
4)Â Â Â Â Â Click on remote settings.
5)Â Â Â Â Â From remote desktop choose any of the three options.
6)Â Â Â Â Â Click on select users.
7)Â Â Â Â Â Select Add from Remote desktop users.
8)     In the select user’s box, click locations.
9)Â Â Â Â Â Type the object and username.
10)Â Â The name will appear in the list.
TO FIND THE PC NAME OF REMOTE COMPUTER
1)Â Â Â Â Â Open start menu.
2)Â Â Â Â Â Right-click on my computer and select properties.
3)Â Â Â Â Â Go to system.
4)Â Â Â Â Â Search for your computer name.
ENABLE REMOTE DESKTOP CONNECTION THOUGH FIREWALL
Firewall interferes with the connection between two computers, to protect its own. To enable remote access in such situation, follow the below steps

1)Â Â Â Â Â Open start menu.
2)Â Â Â Â Â Go to Control panel.
3)Â Â Â Â Â Choose System and Security.
4)Â Â Â Â Â Under windows firewall, allow a program through windows firewall.
5)Â Â Â Â Â Press change settings.
6)Â Â Â Â Â Check the box next to Remote Desktop.
7)Â Â Â Â Â Save the changes by clicking OK.
ENABLE REMOTE DESKTOP ON THE PC YOU WORK FROM
1)Â Â Â Â Â Open start menu.
2)Â Â Â Â Â Go to Remote Desktop Connection.
3)Â Â Â Â Â Enter the name of the PC you want to connect to the computer box.
4)     Press ‘connect’.
