How do I download and use Power Iso to burn images?

Hello!

There are times when I get a virus or spyware attack, therefore messing up my files. At times when I use a flash drive to transfer files, I realize that they are eaten by a virus. I need to burn the important files into images. I have been advised to download power ISO for the job. Is it good for burning large amounts of data without slowing down the system? Does it burn strictly to ISO files only? How does it compare with other image creating software?

Hi Devinuhler,

PowerISO is a powerful software that is capable of creating ISO files. It can create ISO images using CD/DVD as the source, burn them to CD/DVD, mount and image in your hard drive wherein the computer will assume that the image file is in your drive, you can also create ISO from files in your hard drive. PowerISO supports many image files like ISO, BIN and many others. The drawback compared to other software in its category is its not free and has a 300MB limitation. 
 
Alternatively you can use Imgburn. A lightweight  yet powerful CD/DVD/HD DVD/Blu-ray burning application. Its free to download and use. You can create images from files and folders, burn data or images, create image file from disc. Supports many image file formats BIN, IMG, ISO, CUE, MDS, NRG and many others.
