How can I fix bad sectors flash drive?

I am very upset because my files are getting corrupted again and again. When my files were corrupted I copied for backup but those got again corrupted.

My computer cannot find any bad sector there. How can I find and fix bad sectors flash drive?

Is there any effective software?

Hi Maxu,

This is really a bad problem, but don't worry I will give you some advice to fix bad sector in flash drive.

Some Flash Drives are intolerant of NTFS, so try FAT32 instead. Some may also be intolerant of FAT32, so if even FAT32 doesn't work, try FAT16 instead.

How can I fix bad sectors flash drive?

Hi Rall,

Your flash drive might have been infected by a virus. You can scan it with your antivirus software. If you want to fix the bad sectors you can try to use USB Flash Drive Tester, allows you to test for any removable media for bad sectors. 

 

And has an option to fix those. If any of those mentioned does not solve, you can reformat it and use a recovery software to recover the files like PC Inspector File Recovery, its simple to use and absolutely free.
