How to add more memory to the consoles?

Is there a way to add more memory to the consoles? I want to add some memory to PS3 and get something out of it and this is one of my projects. Also include if it is legal to do so. Will we ever get the chance to assemble the consoles at a retailer's and pay accordingly?

Hi, The “PS3” has 500 GB internal memory when you buy it. There is no other way to add more memory internally to the “PS3”, and you can only extend your memory of the “PS3” by using external hard disk.

It is not possible to add the memory internally and externally in the “PS3”. That’s why “Sony Developers” are now making the “PS3” up to 2 TB internal memory. 

Yes, it is legal to add external memory to “PS3” gaming console.

No, at this movement there is no chance to assemble the consoles at a retailer's and pay accordingly.
