Google Docs or USB drive

Hi there, I am storing some information for school and I'm not sure if I should use Google docs or a USB drive. I do not want this information shared so I am concerned about the security of both. I know that Google docs would be better if I would lose the USB drive, but I also know that no one else but me would have the USB drive. Advice is appreciated.

Google Docs or USB drive

Actually,there is the possibility to use either Google docs or a USB drive as each of these can be considered as perfect options selected. However, since you have stated that you do not want this information shared and are concerned about the security, I prefer recommending you to use a USB drive.

• The main reason is, if you face an issue like an account hack, the security of the data saved on Docs is risked.
• Further, if you have to face a network failure for a certain period of time, then you would lose the access to your data saved on Docs.

Therefore, as long as you are responsible about the security of the USB drive, you can rely on saving data on it.
