Faulty computer UPS won’t hold power for five minute

I am having a problem with my UPS.

When the computer is in use and having a power outage the Ups suddenly turn off just few seconds after the power problem. 

So when the power comes back again I have to turn the ups on again.

Hello!

You must first diagnose what components in the UPS that is not working.

Is it the rectifier inverter or the battery?

If it is the battery you need to disconnect the battery or ask someone who has a technical knowledge on how to do it. You must be running out of battery charge and need to recharge or replace it.

The battery keeps the UPS maintain its power in case of a power outage.
