Hello,

I would like to transfer some of my files of * .mdb and* .Accdb format (Microsoft Office Access 2010) and also files of.XLs, .Xlsx and.Xlsb format (Microsoft Office Excel)  to another data source, i.e. Microsoft SQL Server.

In doing the above task I need to connect to MS Access by selecting a Microsoft Access database. Whenever I try to do that an error message pops out.

Does someone know how to fix this up?

No appropriate Access provider was found.

I do not understand the reason behind this. I also tried reinstalling  Microsoft Office 2010 but the error still persists.

Help me out from this problem I am really struck with lots of work left behind.

1.       Start Access.

2.       Open problem database.

3.       On Tools menu, point to Database Utilities, plus then click Upsizing Wizard.

Note In Access 2007, tick SQL Server in Move Data set on Database Tools tab.

4.       In Upsizing Wizard dialog box, click Use existing database choice, and then tick Next.

5.       In Select Data Source dialog box, choice the suitable DSN to attach to your example of SQL Server on File Data Source tab.

6.       Tick OK.

7.       Enter the suitable authentication info to connect to your example of SQL Server if SQL Server Login dialog box seems.

8.       Follow the commands in Upsizing Wizard.

Notice that Access database is effectively upsized without some errors.
