Error in re-installation of office 2003

I have faced a disturbance in my Windows installation for why I repaired the install.

A problem occurred with the Office 2003 application running.

That’s why I am forced to uninstall it and then attempting to reinstall this.

But all the time I am flushed with:

Error 2908. An internal error has occurred.
({53EB5CFB-3DAF-4890-ABCD-4895D28EAAAF} ) Contact your Information Technology department of assistance.

Anyone here who can help me to solve it??Please.

Error in re-installation of office 2003

Hello Evelyn,

This kind of issue in general is related to the .NET Framework installation.

As you were running a repair install to your Windows(not stated which kind of), the problem could be that you “refreshed” some parts of your .NET Framework to an older version.

The solution could be to remove the .NET Framework and reinstall the latest version.

You can use Microsoft's Windows Update service on your computer or at Microsoft's update page:

Error in re-installation of office 2003

You 1st find the folder where the program was installed.

Generally in the Program Files directory on the same disk as the Windows directory. Find software folder and delete it. In general some files will not be deleted, then restart your computer & try to delete them.

If you still cannot delete the files, then try to run in safe mode (press F8 while computer starts) and then try to delete existing files.Then re-install the software.

Again another solution of your problem is to install 3rd party uninstallation softwares. You can find many softwares on internet regarding this. So if you download any of these software you will be able to get rid of your problem without any effort.
