While playing Minecraft, my computer closes the game window and opens Notepad with hs_err_pid error. I have tried reinstalling the game and installed different version of Java. I have also scanned my computer using Antivirus, Anti-Malware, and Spy Sweeper and then update my Windows Ultimate computer with Service Pack 1. I installed the updated drivers for all the hardwares like Graphics and Sound cards but it doesn’t help. Can you suggest a resolution to get out of the issue? Any help will be appreciated.

Hello Zafira!
You have two options to solve this problem.
First, go to Control Panel - System and look for System Properties tab. Under Performance click Settings. Choose the Advance tab and under the section 'Virtual Memory' click 'Change the Paging file to a Custom size' to a minimum size of 2048 and max size of 2048 and then click OK. Reboot your PC. Locate your Minecraft.exe file and now create a notepad file, put this in notepad:
java -Xmx768M -Xms256M -jar minecraft.exe
Save it as Minecraft.bat. Now you will have to open this instead of the .exe file.
The other solution is simple, check what browser do you have, if it's 32-bit or 64-bit. If it is so, download a java 32-bit or 64-bit to your system. This should also solve your problem.
