I have Sony Vaio laptop and I used Linksys WRT54G router which I used in connecting to the internet. I also used Comcast. My Nintendo Wii can detect my wireless router so I can connect to it without problems. But after connecting using my Nintendo Wii, I always get Error 52130. How can I get rid of it? How can I connect to the internet without this error? Help me please!

Whenever you're getting an error 52130 when your wii connects to the internet, you need to do the following:

  1. Since you're using a wireless connection, have you tried checking if you're wii can connect if it's hard-wired into the router? This will isolate the issue if it's something to do with your wireless capability or not.
  2. You need to manually configure the DNS settings on your Wii. To do that follow these:
  • From your Wii menu, look for the Wii button and select Wii settings
  • Use the right arrow twice to be able to select Internet
  • Go to "Connection Settings" and choose the connection file
  • Select Change Settings, 3 times the arrow should be clicked until it reaches Auto-Obtain DNS
  • Pick No, go to Advanced Settings
  • For the Primary DNS, type 8.8.8.8, for the Secondary DNS, type 8.8.4.4
  • Select Confirm and click Save
  • Click Ok and test your connections

Cheers!
