Crash while using ‘Find’ function in DesignCenter

Hi, I have just experience the following problem – 'Failed to parse XML property', when using the 'Find…' function in DesignCenter.

"Runtime
Faild to parse XML property.
Error description:""(null)"".
Source of error:""(null)""."

Has anybody else come across this? When it shows up, I click OK and it just appears again. It repeats this up to 10 times! Then it just crashes. Then, if I load it again, it might only happen once.

I have noticed that the find button can’t seem to find things in scripts related to the runtime out connector settings.

I’m going to do a reinstall. I will update you then, or if you have any tips, they are most welcome!

Hello Dave,

Has the problem been occurring all along since you installed that application or it started occurring recently? If the problem started occurring recently then it could be as a result of the following:

  • You might have made some changes on your computer that tampered with the registry settings of DesignCenter. You will therefore need to use CCleaner to fix all registry issues on your computer and then try running the application after that.
  • You might as well just reinstall the application so that any broken files associated with that might be causing the error will be replaced.
