Corel Draw X6 Error Code 998

Hello

Yesterday I installed CorelDraw X6 on my system, and it was installed successfully but when I launched the application after a successful installation, it won't open and resulted in an error.

The screenshot of the error is as follows:

Unable to load CorelDrw.dll Error Code 998

OK

Can anyone please tell me what does this error code 998 means and how can it be removed?

Hello King Lopezs,

You can solve this problem very easily. Just follow the following steps:

1.Go to Control Panel .

2. In control panel click on programs and features.

3. Click on Corel Draw Graphics Suit .

4.Click on the "UninstallChange" button.The setup will be start.

5. In the setup click on Repair radio button.

Corel Draw X6 Error Code 998

When you are faced with this type of an error message, you should know that, in your system, you have another software or program that is interfering with your Corel Draw software. This is probably a malware, which somehow got into your system. Here are some steps that you can try to fix this:

 

1. Get Revo Uninstaller from the web.
2. Install it.
3. Get rid of any unwanted software from your system
4. Uninstall Corel draw.
5. Restart your system.
6. Re-install the Corel Draw and you should all set to launch Corel Draw.

Corel Draw X6 Error Code 998

If you received an error when launching the application after installing it, check the system requirements again and make sure your computer meets those requirements. For CorelDraw Graphics Suite X6, it supports Windows XP (32-bit only), Windows Vista, Windows 7, and Windows 8.x.

It requires Intel Pentium 4 or equivalent AMD Athlon 64 or AMD Opteron or faster processor, 1 GB RAM, 1.5 GB free space, and 1024 x 768 minimum screen resolution. Make sure to use an administrator account when installing the program. If the problem continues, update your operating system to the latest Service Pack. Download from the following:

• Windows XP Service Pack 3 – this is the latest and last Service Pack update for Microsoft Windows XP
• Windows Vista Service Pack 2 – this is the latest and last Service Pack update for Microsoft Windows Vista
• Windows 7 Service Pack 1 – this is the latest and only Service Pack update for Microsoft Windows 7

After installing the Service Pack update you need to restart the computer. For Microsoft Windows 7, you need to install Platform Update for Windows 7 after updating to Service Pack 1.
