A new study has been done in the UT Dallas on how to create cell phones that can see through walls and it will use Terahertz range. Does this radiation have any health risks?

Based on an interview with Boian Alexandrov that happened at Los Alamos National Laboratory in New Mexico, the report that they organized verified that the Terahertz wave has the possibility to unzip the dual stranded DNA that is causing genetic intervention to genetic expression and the DNA replication.

Cell phones that can “see” through walls

The terahertz region lies between the radio frequency region and optical region that is related to lasers.

There was a study in 2010 conducted by a scientist called Boian S. Alexandrov. The study showed how exactly terahertz frequency interacts with the human body and what dangers does it pose to us humans through a mathematical model. The test was done by showing terahertz radiation interacts with double-stranded DNA, the results showed that even though the involved forces seemed to be miniscule, nonlinear resonance could allow terahertz waves to virtually untie the double-stranded DNA, creating bubbles in the strand that could damage certain processes in the human body like gene expression or DNA Replication.
