Hi,

I wanted to apply an IBM Lotus Notes Fix Pack to administrative install point. I unpacked fixpack.exe. I also attempted several ways and finally failed. Have you any idea for the appropriate procedure to do the same.

Please help me.

Apply an IBM Lotus Notes Fix Pack to administrative install point

 

Hi Heather,

I can understand that you want to apply the lotus notes Fix patch as an administrator to the system. Let me help you with the same and guide you on how to do it.

First you need to download the patch or the fix from the internet, to do this you need to go to the website, https://www.ibm.com/us-en/ , and from there navigate to the development section and then you can search for the patch or the fix that you require and then download it to the system.

Once you have downloaded the fix, then you need to right click on it and then click on run as administrator and then proceed with the installation.

In case this process fails then you need to contact your system administrator in order to run the patch or the fix, as the system might be disabled from any installations that are unauthorized.
