Is it true that Apples new iPhone 5 has Nano sim.

Does the unlocked version will also have the same sim or will differ as other SIM provider should build the same kind of SIM to work in iPhone 5.

Apple’s new iPhone 5 will carry a nano-SIM tray, smaller than iPhone 4S’s micro-SIM. Definitely, it will differ from other SIM provider but expect little similarity with this new innovation because rumors are circulating that Motorola and Nokia is now beginning to study this new technology.

Multiple reports confirm the rumors that the new iPhone 5 will be introduced to the market probably on September.

Hi Mary,

Yes, it is true that the New Apple iPhone 5 has the nano-SIM tray for a nano SIM card.

This is the fourth generation SIM that will also allow you to access 4G network (depending on the availability of your provider and handset specification) which is 10 times faster than the normal 3G or 3G plus networks in terms of data.

This type of SIM is still compatible to perform exactly like other type of SIM cards.

This small-sized SIM allows space to technologists to advanced innovations in telecommunication field.

The unlocked version will still have the same nano SIM compatibility.
