Hi Owen,

HP Office Jet 470b is a nice to have a mobile printer for your personal use and business. Below are some insights that might help you decide whether this is suitable for your company's usage.

  • POSITIVE

    • This is one of the printer that has the lowest cost in page printing (cartridge).
    • It has a sophisticated design
    • Speed performance wise, thumbs up!
    • Once you charge this printer fully, it can print up to 500 pages.
    • The user can print from external device using its WIFI function.
    • This is fitting to every environment because you can easily hold this item to out-of town business ventures.
  • NEGATIVE

    • Incorrect  or incomplete installation of the driver may result to the printing issue thus we recommend to get the latest updates from  this printer.
    • Unlike other HP Desktop printing, it doesn't' exceed quality image printing. Although it inputs crisp and good image.

Overall, this printer is worth your every penny. Hope this helps.

Hello,

Quite a nice piece of machine to have.

One of the advantages is its small and portable. You can use it anywhere, be it at home or office or even somewhere where there is no power. This is achieved through an 11-volt 2300mAh battery that can produce 480 pages off one charge.

It also can be added optional WiFi or Bluetooth modules to use with phones, laptops without using cables. It uses HP’s new Vivera inks thus producing high quality results. The ink is cheaper too with 20$ for 440 black and white pages and 37$ for 600 pages in color.

There are disadvantages too, one being speed. It can only manage 3.7 PPM in both black and white and color. Its expensive to run too and unreliable since it cannot do bulk jobs.

If its an office equipment, I would not advice you to purchase it.
