Wonder if astro gold is astro clone card

Hi guys!

Just came home and decided to start upgrading. I just received a new astro gold card but it seems to be a astro clone card. I followed what the manual says to the new card to be switched with the old card, waiting for the notification to pop up still nothing happened. I decided to leave it in stand by for half an hour still no progress. Can somebody help me with my unit?

Hi Vera,

Try to do this.

1. Try to slot your old smart card and reboot astro

2. And then, go to channel 880. There is an upgrade instructions, if it ask you to remove the old, insert the new and follow the white arrow, don't forget to press OK

3. If the message will appear that upgrade is 10 minutes while your Astro is in standby mode, just press OK

4. Please watch because astro decoder will start now, If it is 100 percent the decoder will reset  and shows current time, it means it is finish already. Your upgrade is complete.
