Will virus infect htc wildfire mobiles even with antivirus installed?

Function and need wise I am very happy with my new htc wildfire mobile.

I do have a antivirus installed on my system (the guy I bought the mobile from did it for me) but will virus infect htc wildfire mobiles even with antivirus installed.?

If yes then what are the software/programs/messages/updates I should be worried about?

This is a very nice question friend. Actually you did a right job that you installed an antivirus in your HTC cell phone.

It helps to prevent your cell phone for upcoming threats.

Only the caution for you is that, you can update your software timely to make your mobile safe.

Hi Karamel,

No, your phone won't be infected if you have an antivirus program installed on your phone.

Your anti virus would protect your phone from almost all sorts of threats. 

Just make sure you keep on updating your anti virus timely and always download apps from a trusted source. 

I suggest you use avast mobile security. You may have a look at it in the link given.

This would work.
