Does the type of application being used affect the battery-life of the smartphone? If it does, could you explain how this process of excessive battery consumption affects the power level of the smartphone?

To answer this question first to know which type of apps you are using on your Android smartphone that consumes lot of battery power. Mostly the apps that can only be used online like Whatsapp, Viber, Facebook, Gmail and any other apps like One drive and many other social apps and also online games and browsers consume more battery power level of the Android smartphone. More internet consumption more battery power consumption on Android smartphone. Playing games consume more battery power, whether the games are offline games.
