Your video or any of your files will remain private until you share it with other users. To upload and store a video on Google Drive, go to My Drive – Google Drive.
If you are not logged in yet, you need to log in to your Google account to access your Google Drive. On the other hand, if you don’t have a Google account, you need to create one to be able to access Google Drive and have your own 15 GB of online storage. In Google Drive, click “NEW” and then select “File upload”.
Next, navigate to the location of your video, select it, and click “Open” to begin uploading your file. Wait until Google Drive completely uploads your file and don’t close the page because it will terminate the process. Once the file is uploaded, you should see it appear on your screen. At this stage, your file is private. No one can access your file except you.
Another option to upload your video is Dropbox. For free users, it offers 2 GB of free online storage. Like with Google Drive, the files you upload in Dropbox will remain private until you share it with others.
