What Is The Wlmerger.exe File? Is This Safe?

When I started checking for some inbuilt files, I came across a wlmerger.exe file in my c drive. I don’t know when it got installed in my system. I heard from my friend that this file is the reason for his driver crash. Can this be true? What is this file? Is this a malware to the system?

It is an executable file of the NVIDIA Corporation. Whenever you install a new driver in your system, these files are in c drive. These files are very safe to use. It is true that in some systems it causes driver crash problems. You should download it only from the main sites. Because of this usage, there are often used to inject malware into systems. These files cause errors if they get corrupted by any case. You can uninstall these files if you want, but make sure that the application using this file won’t get affected by this.
