I recently came across the global theme design in Oracle Apex. There are many different components available, but I cannot understand the use cases for some of them. Can you please explain what is the oracle apex collapsible region component in the Oracle Apex Global Theme?

Oracle Apex global theme gives your application a responsive and modern user interface. This means that if you use a global theme, you can design applications for devices of any dimensions while retaining the modern look and feel provided by the theme. This also makes the user interface versatile and consistent across all platforms.
As far as the collapsible region component is concerned, as the name suggests, it provides the user interface with a region that is collapsible. This means that it creates an area which is expanded (visible) by default and can be collapsed using the arrow on top of it. The collapsible region has many use cases such as hiding the complete information and just displaying the head of the data. The information will be visible once you click on the head of the data and expand it.
