I'm searching the web for children filters so I could block some sites that are not suitable for them.  I use IE7, so I'm looking for filters that are compatible with it.  What are the 5 best children filters available on the web?

You can select any amongst below mentioned 5 children filters for blocking unsuitable sites. 

1.) Norton Safety Minder

2.) OpenDNS

3.) K9 Web protection

4.) Windows Live Family Safety

5.) Kidzui K2 browser

All of them are compatible with IE7, and Norton safety Minder should be the safest and most reliable choice for you. However, you might face some problems if you try to run it with already installed antiviruses(other than Norton). In any case, you should have no problem in using it with Windows Security Essential.

OpenDNS is more configurable and is at par with Norton safety Minder. If you want to use the basic version of this software, you need to register with OpenDNS.
