Video card error while opening new games

Hi!

I have this config: Intel Core i5 2500K 3.30GHz box, Motherboard: Asus P8P67-M rev. B3, Video Card: Gigabyte GeForce GTX 560 Ti OC 1 GB DDR5 256-bit, HDD: Samsung 500 GB SATA-II 7200 rpm 16 MB SpinPoint F3

I installed Windows 7 64 bits, and every time I try to play a game of last generation the PC freeze a few seconds, minimize the game to the taskbar and I receive this error: "Display Driver NVIDIA Windows Kernel Mode Driver, Version 280.26  stopped responding and has successfully recovered." (see file attached)

I monitor the temperature of video card and it is not more than 74C by load. I also installed the latest video card driver dll from

 If someone has an idea/solution I would much appreciate it.

Video card error while opening new games

I think the video card installed on your computer cannot handle the graphics load of the game and also maybe the game requires a component from the graphics adapter and your video card doesn't have it that's why it freezes in an instant and recovers later afterwards.

Sometimes even if you update its driver to the latest release, it still doesn’t function as what you would expect. It is the physical capability of the hardware if its component can support what the video requirements are needed. And most often that is the result, the computer freezes in a moment.

The video card here should be replaced depending on what video card is required by the game Last Generation. Check first the game’s System Requirements so you will know what video card is required for playing the game. And you may also check the other factors of the game to make it running smoothly.

Video card error while opening new games

This is a problem that I faced and hard to fix. Finally I fix it and try my steps, First uninstall the game and remove your VGA card and Run PC with on-board VGA then remove all VGA card drivers and clean your system and registry old entries.

Then install the game and install VGA after installing the game. And update drivers in online methods.

Run your game and good luck!
