USB Ports Not Working in Acer Laptop

Hi,

I just bought an Acer Aspire One Laptop that I have an Operating System reinstalled from Scratch. After restart, the mouse doesn't work when I plugged it in to the USB port and also the Keyboard is not working. I realized that my USB ports are not working. It should work by default even without drivers right?

Do I need to install a driver for it?

USB Ports Not Working in Acer Laptop

At first check it again with other USB device like pen drive. if it not work, I think your USB driver may damaged. So you may find it through internet.

 

1. First search the USB driver software (must write your laptop model)

2. Download the mention driver software Then uninstall your previous USB driver

3. Now  install downloaded driver correctly 

3. Then restart  your laptop.

 

I think your problem may be solved otherwise Install your  Operating system again then download your mention driver and install it.

 

Otherwise  you should contact ACER customer service.

USB Ports Not Working in Acer Laptop

This kind of problem occurs for the fragment of your USB drives. You should proper install it for solve this problem. Here following the method to fix this problem in you laptop.

At first connect your USB device such as pen drive, card reader, mobile phone cable etc and then click on start button which is located at the bottom of your laptop monitor.

Then select control Panel and then select add hardware option form the control panel window. Now select Next and then your laptop will automatically search your USB device and recommend for install required driver.

You should just click next and finish for complete it.
