Hi Experts,

I am trying on online social dating sites and I have shared my personal information with that site. But now I am getting spam email regularly from various websites to marketing purposes. How to remove my email address from their database. Advice me on this.

This is usually the bad side of joining different websites and then registering your personal email address with them. This is really not the fault of the website but by the person or groups that gather different email addresses from different websites.

They use a certain program called email spider or email crawler and this is the thing responsible for gathering different email addresses from different websites. The application is usually launched from a remote location then pointing the crawler to a specific URL or website then from there the email spider will spread its web and can spread thousands of threads across the web.

You can avoid receiving spam messages by avoiding in using your personal email address when registering to social networking sites. Create a dummy or fake email address that you can use to register to different websites.
