It is possible to track printed documents back to their original printer or photocopier, based on a serial number that is attached to each print-out?

Track printed documents to their original

Dear Justin

 

Yes it is possible to track printed documents back to their original printer or photocopier, based on a serial number that is present on each of the pages printed by that printer. After printing the documents place it in a dark room and highlight blue LED light on it. By running the light on the paper you will observe series of dots not visible under normal lights. You can also place the page under a microscope and observe the small dots. These small dots are encoded by the printer companies to trace the documents printed by the machines produced by them.
