Sleep mode or shut down pc if connected to Network?

Hi there,

I was wondering whether putting my pc on Sleep mode or shutting it down would affect other pc connected to my office network?

Sleep mode or shut down pc if connected to Network?

 

Putting your pc on sleep mode or shutting it down will affect other pc connected to your network especially if other office personnel is accessing files that are saved in your hard-disk. If this is the case, you need to set-up your server so you and other staff in your company can save files directly to the server so whenever anyone from your office decided to put their computer on sleep mode or shut it off, no one will be disturb. You can be assure that all your files is secured when virus infects your computer.

Sleep mode or shut down pc if connected to Network?

Dear User,

Putting your PC in to sleep doesn’t disconnect your connection to the network. And also other people can join to the network if it is home or private network without a password.

But the problem is file sharing wouldn’t be working because your pc is on sleep mode.

So if you ask me what is good sleep mode or shut down. It really depends upon your need.

What do you need? If you need the network to be connected to you pc then sleep mode is okay,

Or you can just shut down your pc and restart the connection
