If you have a Windows phone like Nokia Lumia and you receive error code “80070003” when copying files to the SD card or when playing audio files, here’s a workaround. First, remove the SD card from your phone then insert it into a card reader and plug it into your computer. Next, copy all the files from the SD card to your computer.

You can create a new folder on your hard drive for the files to be backed up. After this, unplug the card reader from your computer and remove the SD card. Now, insert the SD card back to your phone then format the card on your phone. Once formatting is complete, remove the SD card again from your phone then connect it back to your computer.

Copy all the files you copied on your hard drive back to the SD card then insert the SD card back to your phone. Lastly, restart your phone and this should fix the problem. If the problem continues, replace the SD card with a new one.
