Receiving blue screen as well as Fatal Exception Error while restarting Win98

Hello,

I am receiving the blue screen as well as Fatal Exception Error 016F:BFF8CC32, when I am ready to restart Win98.

This delays me to install a number of software as well as programs properly, like my latest Verizon DSL software with printer software.

I need to solve this.

Please help me.

Hello Calvin ,

I can see you have a disk cache problem. Edit "System,ini" file and change it from "min & maxfilecache=32552" to "min & maxfilecache=8096".

If you are unable to find it then you should turn on the option to show hidden files and press F3 and search for it. That would do the trick .

But I Think you should get a newer version of windows.

Such as Windows XP or Windows 7.
