What could be the possible reasons for failure of accessing google talk us through proxy address while accessing the same through no proxy returns perfect utilization of the application and what are the possible solutions?

Reasons for failure in accessing Google talk us through proxy address

It may be the firewall that prevents you from signing into Google Talk.

You should adjust your firewall settings.

-To adjust it, open the firewall and add Google Talk to the approved list.

If you have adjusted your firewall to allow Google Talk and are still having this problem with connecting, try to delete the rule and re-add it before trying to connect another time.

If you still have the problem, it may be from the proxy user name or password. To adjust the proxy user name and password, follow this.

1. Open Google Talk, then open settings.

2. Highlight 'Connection' along the left side of the dialogue box, and select 'Use the following proxy'.

3. Click the box next to proxy that says 'Requires Authentication'.

4. Enter the proxy username and password.

5. Click OK.
