A problem with the screen

Hello,

Since yesterday, my laptop has a problem with the screen. I normal use for example ,word processing or Internet browsing, when suddenly the screen went white. To “reappear"  the screen, I have to move a little screen, tilting a little less. I guess it just a connection problem of the screen.
My laptop is an HP dv5.

Is it serious? Any way to fix the problem?

A problem with the screen

From your article it is clear that you laptop has a problem, but it is not totally clear to me, what you do to reappear the screen?  You said, you need to tilt your laptop. That means you need to shake it. It is clear that you have some loose connection issue inside. I think you should take it to a laptop technician who can repair the loose contact connection. Still it is in primary stage, so it is important to take care of it or you may lose any of its components and it may increase your servicing charge or you may permanently lose your screen or components related to it.
