Problem in Importing contacts from my BBcurve into Windows Outlook

Hi, my device is Blackberry curve and I am also using the Blackberry PC software on my windows 7. When I was trying to import my blackberry contacts into my windows outlook software it stopped midway and displays “error code 0x80043ac9”. I rebooted my computer several times to fix it, but no success. Now I am in need of your help. Thanks in advance.

Problem in Importing contacts from my BBcurve into Windows Outlook

Hi Annaatutor,

I'm sorry to hear that you are having issues with your Blackberry not being able to sync on your Windows Outlook software.

This is a known issue in the Blackberry software as it does not read any entries (calendar appointments for your contacts, birthdays & anniversaries) with a start date before 1900s (anything older than the year 2000).

There's no expected time of resolution for this bug as per the development team.

The good news is, there's 2 work arounds. 

1.) Simply delete or change the dates that have those invalid dates

2.) Back up the contacts (will create an .idp file), delete the contacts from the phone. and then resynchronize.
