A PC shows online status but not accessible

Hi Experts

I am managing a Network and do the maintenance of computers remotely. I am having a problem that when I reboot pc online status is shown but when I try to access it, I cannot. This computer is displayed on router also. All other PCs on this LAN are accessible. Can anyone solve this problem?

Hello,

Since you are doing the maintenance of the computers remotely and you currently have no access to it, someone needs to check the computer physically, try to reboot it, and check the IP addresses and see if the computer can ping the router. Security settings need to be checked as well.

A PC shows online status but not accessible

Hello Dear,

It seems that the computer you are trying to access is turned off.

In fact, when a computer turns off, it shows its status as "online" until we reset the router or hub that we are using as the central point, because this status will be saved in the cache memory of the router until we reset the router.

To fix this problem, restart your router.
