My Motherboard model is "Asrock N68-S3 UCC" and a Processor of AMD Sempron.

I want to upgrade my processor but I don't know how doing it?

Is there a possibility to upgrade my Processor to CORE I Series?

Thanks,

Hello,

As you wish you can upgrade your processor using N68-S3 UCC motherboard. Aside from Sempron Family your motherboard also supports Athlon II and Phenom II Family, all you need to do is to choose how many cores do you wish to upgrade your computer to.

Athlon II supports Dual-Core, Triple-Core and Quad-Core while Phenom II supports Dual-Core up to 6-cores or equivalent to I-7 series that Intel has.

Please see attached URL (http://www.asrock.com/mb/NVIDIA/N68-S3%20UCC/?cat=CPU). Should the link is not working, all you need to do is to search for your Motherboard's specified to identify which processor you can upgrade to. Or simply refer to the Motherboard manual.
