I have accidentally deleted a very important task under the Task Manager. Now, whenever I start the system it gives an error message, ‘The HP software update failed because it is missing the software library. The software is to be re-installed’ , and then the software will close. Please help me to get out of this problem. Thanks in advance.

If you deleted a file or process running at your task manager, it is not a problem. The task manager only displays the programs running to your computer. If you end a process and you don’t know how to start that process again, just restart your computer and the process will work again.

So I think it is not on task manager that you deleted a file, if you encounter to re-install software error, you can do a repair with using the installation C.D for your software. Try that, and if did not work, you need to re-install the software to be fix.
