Microsoft Access Error Downloading Sample Data Northwind

Hello,

I just installed Microsoft Access on my computer. I tried to use a sample data provided so I don't have to create one. But I have to download the sample data first before I can use it since it was not packed with the installer.

The sample data that I want to download is Northwind Sample Database, but I don't succeed with it. What is wrong with my installation? Here are some screen captures.

1. Downloading

2. Workgroup Administrator couldn't create the workgroup information file…

3. Microsoft Access couldn't find file '  ': This file is required for startup.

Microsoft Access Error Downloading Sample Data Northwind

Download the following files from this link:

1. Northwind 2007 database
2. Northwind 2007 template

You usually put this to the "My Documents" folder.

Checked with Smadav Anti Virus (Smadav.Net), and if you want, you can check with other anti virus online like McAfee, Kaspersky or others.

Microsoft Access Error Downloading Sample Data Northwind

Hi,

This could occur if you don't have sufficient dick space in drive C:/ . If that's the case then you could clean up some space by going in drives properties then cleanup.

1. Go to My computer.

2. Right click on C:/ and click properties.

3. Run Disk cleanup and let it finish.

This will free up some space for you. Or you could also try downloading it from another source site. I hope this helped.
