Message backup facility for samsung mobile using kies

I am using Samsung galaxy S mobile and i want to create a backup for my mobile messages in my laptop using Kies software, but I couldn't find any such option in it, someone please help me in backing up my messages.

There are many ways to backup your messages and I can recommend these apps for you. You can download them using your smart phone they are all available at the Android Market:

1. Very Android SMS Backup (Free download, full package $19.99):

  • Using this app can copy and backup SMS on an Android Phone to your computer. It can also restore SMS files backed up to any Android Phone. You can also send messages or chat with a friend using your computer and it’s real-time.

2. SMS Backup + via Gmail Account (free download):

  • This automatically backups SMS, MMS and Call Log entries which uses a label in Gmail and or Google Calendar.
  • Just enable the IMAP in Gmail and then check if the time zone is correct.

3. SMS Backup & Restore (free download):

  • Creates automatic scheduled backups, you can view the contents on your phone and you can select the conversations you want to backup.
  • The backup files are in XML format on the Memory Card it can then be converted into other formats too.
  • MMS not supported yet.

4. Ever note (free download):

Hi There, 

It seems you are having trouble with backing up contacts and messages.

Let me say Kies is the worst software i ever came to use in my life, Its so slow, Non User friendly, Most the time it hangs or freezes and very less features. Very bad about it is the response time. I have one of the fastest PC i assembled myself and over clocked, So its not the PC Performance issue. Response time is really annoying. 

I suggest not to use Kies at all. 

Your issue is backing up Messages, Contacts , Call logs and all.

Download the Android App Super Backup from Google play store and then you can backup all these into your Micro SD and then store it in your PC.
