Lotus Notes conflicts with Skype

Hello,

When I run both Lotus Notes and Skype, Lotus disconnects from the server and can't do replication (send and receive updates to/from the server.

The message I get from Lotus is "can not use this network name" and the name of the server. 

Before I open Skype, Lotus works normally. 

Does anyone have any idea what the problem may be?

Lotus Notes conflicts with Skype

Hi Zackjack,

The problem will always occur if  two or more user edit the same document and save the changes you made in different copy.  Just like what you are doing.  You used Lotus notes as well as Skype. To resolve it quickly, fix it after they occur.  It is important to consolidate the save conflicts immediately to enable the user to access the correct information. 

What you must do:

• You must copy first the information you want to save from the main document into the save conflict document.  In that case the save conflict document becomes  the main document.

• You must do minor edit or save the conflict document if you do not need to save any information from the main document .  Or simply delete the original document.
