Hi Owens. OpenMeta is a technology which has many applications that allows you to read, and or write tags, ratings, etc. to any file. It is used for commercial, open source and in house programs. To understand more about OpenMeta just go to openmeta.googlecode.

This software has a lot to offer if you are dealing with user define meta data. OpenMeta is a great OS X Cocoa Objective. This allows you and the application you are using to read, write tags, ratings to any file. It will work with 10.5 an 10.6 but lower version wouldn't work.
