Hey, I am tired of installing guest OS and applications. Does anyone know any method of generating vSphere clone from the snapshot?

Learn To Generate VSphere Clone From Snapshot

Hey there,  If you are talking about VMware Workstations, it’s pretty easy. You must know that workstation’s snapshot are stored as changes, from the initial or parent state. In order to create the copy, fully independent of a VM from the snapshot, follow these steps:

1. Choose VM.

2. Go to ‘VM’, then ‘Snapshots’ and then to ‘Snapshot manager’.

3. Hover over to the snapshot you wish to clone, but remember to power off the snapshot before you make a clone

4. Click on ‘Clone’

5. Finally, confirm cloning process by clicking on ‘OK’ in the dialog box.
