Laptop’s web cam captures hazy images

Hi there,

I have an Alienware Laptop which has a Web cam which captures hazy images, sometimes they appear scratchy, I have checked the settings and drivers and everything seems okay, I have tried using it with Skype and it could not work, what could be the Problem? How do I get this solved?

Laptop’s web cam captures hazy images

Hi !

First uninstall the old drivers and install new updated ones but compatible with your OS. Make the settings that you need, contrast, brightness, etc. If you don't have a clean view run a dignosis process and then you will see what is wrong with your webcam. Also if you still have your warranty certificate go to an authorized service and they will repair it if its a hardware problem.
