 Hello

While I was working with the NI 6587 FlexRIO Adapter Module during the simulation of the FPGA VI for a FlexRIO target, I got the message “LabVEIW FPGA: An internal software error in the LabVIEW FPGA Module has occurred.'

Please contact National Instruments technical support at ni.com/support.” This message had a “Details” button which I clicked. This gave me additional information about the error. It stated “Error -61499 occurred at niFpgaCompileWorker_AnalyzeTimingViolations.vi <- niFpgaCompileWorker_AnalyzeTimingPaths.vi <- niFpgaCompileWorker_CheckForErrors.vi <- niFpgaCompileWorker_JobComplete.vi <- niFpgaCompile_Worker.vi:1

Possible reason(s):

LabVEIW FPGA: An internal software error in the LabVIEW FPGA Module has occurred. Please contact National Instruments technical support at ni.com/support.

Additional Information: There is no error path

Return Code: -3001”.

This error message occurred while I was placing and routing. Can you help me fix the issue that is causing this error?

LabVIEW FPGA: Internal Software Error in LabVIEW FPGA Module

Hallo Fern,

The problem you are getting occurs when the order of installation is not correct. What you will therefore need to do is installing the Vision software only after you have installed the FPGA Module. In case you did not install the components in the right order, then reinstallation of the Vision software should fix the compilation error.

Nicke
